WORDING & LAYOUT
Q: Can my invitation look just like the sample?
A: Yes. If the font in the sample is something we have. Although, if you have more or less text than in the example, the layout may change.
Q: When I type in my message, there’s no way to show centering and larger font. How will you know what I want?
A: Our designer is experienced with designing cards in an attractive manner, such as centering, and larger font for the honoree’s name. However, you can specify details in special instructions. Plus, ask for a free electronic proof, so you can make any changes or corrections.
Q: When I type in my message, then click add to cart, I can’t see what I typed. Is this normal?
A: Unfortunately, yes. However, if you click on View Cart (upper left hand corner of the screen), you will be able to see your message. Warning: Don’t use the back button to make changes to your text, instead reply to your confirmation email with any corrections or changes. If you want to start over, remove the item from your shopping cart and begin again.
Q: Can I see what my invitation will look like before I order it?
A: Sorry, no. It takes a human to design your invitation. Once you place an order, our designer will get to work on making your text fit the available space on the invitation you have chosen.
Q: Can I use wording that is different from the sample?
A: Yes. All of our invitations start blank, so be creative! Any wording can be used on any card. Or, you can create your own unique wording.
Q: How do I request an electronic proof?
A: Type “proof” in the Special Instructions box before clicking Add to Cart. If you forget, you can always email or call us to ask for a proof.
Q: I got my proof and there is shadow/blurry writing behind my text. Will that show on my invitation?
A: Absolutely not! When your proof is sent, we show your text on top of a faded picture of the sample card. This protects the copyright of the cards and gives you a preview of your text layout against the card’s graphic. When we print your invitations, only your text is printed on the card.
Q: Does it cost extra for an electronic proof?
A: No. We send proofs via email for free!
Q: Can I see a proof before the order is printed?
A: Proofs can be faxed or emailed at no charge. This process may delay shipping of the order, as approval is needed prior to printing. Please indicate the request for a proof in the Special Instructions box.
Q: Can I see the actual card before placing my whole order?
A: Yes, since we don't have a minimum quantity, you can order just one and see how the actual invitation will look! You will be charged shipping twice, however.
ENVELOPES
Q: Will the cards come with envelopes even if I don’t request a printed return address?
A: Yes. Every printed invitation comes with envelopes. Some also come with ribbons or special attachments, which also will be shipped automatically with your order.
Q: Does it cost extra to print the return address on envelopes?
A: No. However, printing the return address is not available on some specialty envelopes. See individual card descriptions for those few exceptions.
COLORS AND FONTS
Q: I want blue ink. Does that cost more than black?
A: No. The price you see is it!
Q: What typestyles (fonts) and colors are available?
A: At the bottom of the website page there are links for options and options. Click on the words there (or here) to see the selections. When you place your order, fonts and colors are in drop down boxes.
BLANK INVITATIONS
Q: Can I order blank invitations?
A: Yes. So we know that’s what you want, in the font drop down box, choose (No Printing) Blank Card. Or in the message box, type BLANK.
Q: Do blank invitations cost the same as printed ones?
A: Yes. There is no discount for blank cards.
OUT OF STOCK
Q: I got an email that the invitation I chose was out of stock. Do I have to wait for the card to come in before I get my proof?
A: No. We start designing your invitation right away and will send you the proof as soon as it is ready.
Q: What if I want to know if a card is in stock before I place my order?
A: Feel free to call us at 888-478-4677 and we’ll be glad to check for you. Just write down the name of the card or cards.
GETTING MY ORDER
Q: How long does it take to receive my order?
A: Your order will be shipped via Federal Express. Orders received before 5:00 p.m. EST are printed and shipped within approximately 24-48 hours (excluding Weekends & Holidays) on in stock items. If you request a proof, printing and shipping is delayed until we get an approval from you on the proof. Federal Express takes anywhere from 3-5 business days depending on location. If you need your order sooner, you can choose Second Day or Overnight for an additional charge. Please check the appropriate Shipping box when you place your order.
Q: What is the quality of paper that you use?
A: Our invitations are printed on high quality card stock (60 to 80lb). Your event is special, and your invitation should be as well.
Q: What does the price of the card include?
A: The price of the card includes unlimited wording, printing on the invitation, and envelopes.
Q: Is there a minimum amount that I have to order?
A: No. Unlike many other places, you can order just 1, or any increment that you desire, plus we do not charge any set-up or design fee!
Q: Can birth announcements be pre-ordered?
A: Yes. Place the order as usual, but leave the date, weight, etc. blank. When the baby is born, simply email us with the birth information and your cards will be printed and shipped immediately.
